Skateboarding and Jungle music—two subcultures that are born out of rebellion and thrive in the underground. They both carry that raw, unapologetic energy that turns heads and breaks rules. So when Triple 3 Clothing announced their collab skateboard deck with Junglist Network, it was like the universe aligning for skaters and bassheads alike. A partnership forged in the chaos of street sessions and sweaty rave nights?.
This isn’t just another slapped-together merch piece. It’s a celebration of two cultures that have always championed creativity, community, and staying true to their roots. The Triple 3 x Junglist Network deck doesn’t just look the part—it feels like the embodiment of skateboarding’s raw grind and jungle music’s relentless rhythm. Here’s what makes this Collab a little special for all of us here at Triple 3.
JUNGLIST NETWORK: A DECADE OF BASS CULTURE
To truly understand why this collab matters, you’ve got to dive into the history of Junglist Network, a crew that’s been flying the flag for Jungle music and the Junglist way of life for over a decade. Founded in the UK during the 2010s, Junglist Network emerged as a platform to keep the jungle scene alive and thriving. Keep the original vibe alive from the Junglist Movement - the sound of pirate radio stations, raves, and bass bins bursting your ear drums. Junglist Network stepped in to preserve that spirit while giving it a modern twist.
More than just a web portal for Jungle, Junglist Network launched a streetwear clothing label when it first begun which grows from strength to strength. With hundreds of releases of T-Shirts, Hoodies and Junglist Jackets and everything else you can ever imagine as well as vinyl releases and cd’s.
But Junglist Network’s impact doesn’t stop at the music. They’ve sponsored a roster of artists who represent the heart and soul of the scene. Names like Nicky Blackmarket, a pioneer of the jungle sound, and The Ragga Twins, who brings a global perspective to the genre, are just a taste of the talent associated with the crew.
THE DECK DESIGN: PURE VIBES, PURE CHAOS
Now let’s talk about the deck itself. Triple 3 and Junglist Network didn’t just phone it in with some generic graphic on a badly made deck. We sourced the finest British made decks we could find, hand crafted by Big Aye Skateboards and produced for the best, long lasting ride possible.
The deck design, features the Triple 3 timeless hourglass logo splattered all over the deck and engrained with the infamous Junglist Network camo pattern, which has adorned Jackets and T-Shirts across the world.
BUILT TO PERFORM, DESIGNED TO DESTROY
Triple 3 doesn’t mess around when it comes to quality, and this deck is no exception. It’s built from 7-ply Canadian maple, pressed to perfection for that sweet spot of pop, strength, and flex.
The deck features a medium concave profile, perfect for versatility. It comes with a 14.25 wheelbase in a range of sizes. It’s a classic popsicle shape.
SKATE MEETS SOUND: A CULTURAL CROSSOVER
What makes this collab so special is how seamlessly it blends two subcultures that, on the surface, might seem worlds apart. But dig deeper, and you’ll see how skateboarding and jungle music share the same DNA.
Both scenes were born out of necessity, giving a voice to those who didn’t fit into mainstream molds. Skateboarding turned the streets into playgrounds, while jungle music transformed clubs and warehouses into temples of bass. Both are about breaking rules, creating something from nothing, and building communities around a shared passion.
The Triple 3 x Junglist Network deck isn’t just a mashup—it’s a celebration of that shared spirit. It’s a call to skaters and ravers alike to embrace what makes them different and keep pushing the culture forward.
